Samsung foldable smartphone patent leaked

LOCKED! PATENT LEAKS NOT ALLOWED

The patent mentions that instead of having an actual bendable display, the device will be divided with hinge in the center, which undertake its foldable capability.
Further the patent mentions that the hinge will have the capability to lock the screen in place depending on which mode it is being used in.

The S9 would have a notch if patents were always turned to real products: https://www.galaxyclub.nl/2017/09/samsung-design-patent-sensor-cutout-display

But they don’t, and most likely neither will this one. A foldable phone is coming in November sure, but there is no guarantee that it’ll fold exactly like this. And even if it does, a patent is still not a leak
